These days, stress and tension seem to be relentless. Busy schedules and always being “on” leave us with little to no resilience when it comes to dealing with anything extra that gets heaped onto our plates.
Which is why I’m always on the lookout for ways to help alleviate stress and the emotional toll it takes when we’re under pressure for long stretches of time.
My most recent discovery is an essential oil blend called Adaptiv. It’s a calming blend of ingredients that have been shown to help us adapt when we find ourselves in difficult situations.
We can use Adaptiv to feel more comfortable with new surroundings or situations like when a big meeting is coming up, or for other important events (giving a talk, going on an interview, having a difficult conversation with someone, etc.).
According to doTERRA:
In preliminary studies, the scent of Lavender, a main ingredient of Adaptiv, has been found to contribute to an environment conducive to performing tasks requiring sustained attention.
It also has a few key elements that I think are helpful:
- Lavender, Magnolia, Neroli, and Sweetgum provide stress-relieving effects while Wild Orange and Spearmint energize and uplift.
- Copaiba and Rosemary are known to soothe anxious feelings which most of us deal with on a daily basis.
Whether you’re feeling fatigued (stress has a way of wearing us down and causing exhaustion), restless, indecisive or irritable, Adaptiv is a great essential oil to add to your toolkit to help your body and mind stay balanced.
Another cool thing about this adaptogenic aid is that it comes in three different options: an oil (can be diffused into the air, applied topically or ingested), a roll on (convenient way to apply and easy to use) and gel caps.
I was actually running around like a monkey the other day getting myself all worked up with things to do and put a few dabs of Adaptiv on my wrists and neck.
If you’d like to know more about Adaptiv, reply to this email or call me. If you want to give it a whirl, you can order it from my on-line market here.
You can also save money on your order by opening a wholesale account (just like BJs and Costco) and receive 25% off. The fee for the first year is $35.
What I like most about the wholesale account is you can place an order at any time, there’s no monthly order requirement, and no automatic renewal. When you’re ready to renew, the price drops to $25/year. If you’d like more information about creating a wholesale account, give me a jingle or click on the Become A Member tab at the top of the homepage.
It’s Fall and the temperatures are dropping. Ready to chill out?
